Account Deletion – Careers Vizag
Overview
Careers Vizag allows users to permanently delete their account and associated data directly from within the app.
This page explains how account deletion works and what happens to your data.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account inside the app:

Open the Careers Vizag app

Go to Profile
-
Tap Delete Profile
-
Confirm your request
Deletion Process
Job Seeker Accounts

Deletion is processed immediately.
-
Access to the account is permanently removed.
Employer Accounts

Deletion requests are reviewed for security and fraud prevention.

Accounts are permanently deleted within 48 hours.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

Firebase Authentication account
-
Name and profile information
-
Email address
-
Phone number (if provided)
-
Job posts (Employer accounts)
-
Job applications (Job Seeker accounts)
-
Uploaded images and files
-
Associated Firestore database records
Data Retention
Careers Vizag does not retain personal data after account deletion.
However, minimal security logs may be temporarily retained if required for fraud prevention or legal compliance.
Processing Time
-
Job Seekers: Immediate
-
Employers: Within 48 hours
Once deletion is complete, the account cannot be restored.
